Total War: Rome 2 patch improves AI waiting times

Creative Assembly today released Patch 2 for its historical strategy epic Total War: Rome 2.

The patch seeks to minimize calculation times during AI turns; a common complaint about the game has been extended periods of players waiting for enemies to get on with their business. Sega released the Windows PC game earlier this month.

Additionally, a new "Limited" option has been added to the "Show AI Player Moves" settings which enables the player to see all movement of enemy factions in home territories.

Various AI improvements have also been added, prompting enemies to behave more rationally when under threat. Unit movement speeds have been tweaked. A full (and detailed) list of the fixes has been posted on the Total War Wiki.
